Alexandr Stoianoglo, Prosecutor General Since November 2014, Moldova is infamously known in the whole world — one billion US dollars was stolen from the National Reserves of the National Bank. It was dubbed the Heist of the Century as the embezzlement represents one eighth of the Moldovan GDP.
